Jess & Joe, Micro Wedding at Colony HQ
I’m excited to finally share images from our very first wedding of the year. Since the big C has disrupted so many weddings in the last 16 months, it’s lovely to kick off the season with an intimate wedding and such a cute, lovely couple!
Jessica & Joe chose this beautiful wedding venue in Wilmslow called The Colony HQ - it’s a new venue to me so I was excited to look around the venue with the couple on the recce and realise we were surrounded by fields! There’s so many cute spots around the grounds, we were spoilt for choice for couple shots.
This is quite a unique venue in the respect that ceremonies can take place outside without being under cover. The outdoor space has a permanent structure with retractable roof which when pulled back, offers the most stunning aspect over the fields and just blue sky above your heads! We couldn’t have been more lucky with the weather!
Jess and Joe had invited their very closest family and friends, proving that nothing is lost with having a micro wedding. It was lovely to get to spend more time getting to know their family and friends and of course capturing lots of fun images with them.
